Modern day falconry
Falconer: Someone who trains a wild bird of prey to hunt
The art for falconry has dated back past 5000 years with some for the earliest transcripts describing a man and his relation with a falcon being written by non other then Genghis Khan. Since those days falconry has progressed massively not only as a method of hunting but in the conservation of many different species of birds, not just hunting birds. Today in our modern industry there is a place for falconry when it comes to the management of large flocks of wild birds. The falcon, the apex predator in the bird kingdom is still to this day one of the most environmentally friendly, efficient methods of controlling flocks over all other single use techniques. The presence of a natural predator within the environment creates a natural negative and potentially fatal atmosphere to the species that required control. Alti Bird Control applies a nature to nature process. To achieve this we train falcons with refined field tested techniques so that the highest impact can be achieved in the shortest time period while maintaining an ever evolving safety operational policy and management plans
Alti bird control supports and cares about all species of wild bird and applies falconry programs to manage over population and imbalances of invasive species and problem flocks. We advocate conservation of all species of wild bird no matter whether they are classed as pests or not. Every program is 100% organic and 100% target specific eliminating risk to non evasive species when required..
